Elegant, fluid and artistic! ” These calligraphy lines drawn with precision and skill, creating an impression of movement and grace. The curves of the letters would integrate harmoniously into the structure of the transparent chair, following the contours of the backrest for example, the lines would unfold organically, recalling the features of a brush loaded with ink. It was a challenge for me to write upside down for the first time… but these dynamic letters and abstract compositions create a real functional work of art. My collaboration with Kartell on the Louis Ghost chair created by the designer Philippe Stark, is a creative fusion between the art of contemporary calligraphy and emblematic design, giving birth to a truly unique piece of furniture, rich in visual poetry, imbued with an innovative and captivating artistic expression…
